It’s a little rainy and gloomy out in Cleveland today, so let’s brighten it up with a gorgeous Fresh 48 photography session share!
During our pre-session phone consult, Tricia was telling me how she hoped she would go into labor the next day (even though her due date wasn’t for a couple more weeks) because it was going to be one of those record setting 70 degree in February days in Cleveland. Crazy enough, the next morning I got a text from Tricia saying she was in labor and at the hospital and Luke would be making his appearance that day! I think that’s a sign that he’s going to be a good listener 😉 .
If you follow my page or glanced through my newborn portfolio, you probably have noticed that my approach to newborn photography has always been focused on not just the new baby, but on the entire family as well – and since Luke is baby #3 for the Reed family, his Fresh 48 session is a perfect example of how I capture a growing family’s story. We were able to schedule his session at the same time that Grandma and Grandpa were bringing big sister, Grace and big brother, Shane in to meet their baby brother for the first time and I’m so glad it worked out because it was such an amazing moment to witness. I could not have wiped the smiles off those kiddos’ faces as they met Luke (and saw their Mama!). Grace is totally going to be Luke’s “second Mama” and Shane and him are going to be best buds for sure. Because of how sweet they were with him, I may or may not have left the hospital that day wanting a third baby of my own 🙂 .
Thank you so much, Reed family, for choosing me as your fresh 48 photographer! I am so glad we captured these memories for you and can’t wait to visit again on Saturday for your home session!
