What a dream of a session this was! Although, with the combination of beautiful scenery, beautiful light and a beautiful couple, we couldn’t have gone wrong. I knew I was in luck when I saw Shannon step out of her car in such a beautiful white dress (just take a look at the photos to see just how incredibly stunning she was in it). I just knew how perfect it would be with the location and with the gorgeous golden-hour light.
For this outdoor maternity photography session, we ended up at Patterson’s Fruit Farm in Chesterland, OH. After a few location ideas were discussed, mom-to-be, Shannon, decided on Patterson’s and I’m so glad she did because I just love this location. It’s one of my favorites, although I may be a little biased since my husband and I had our wedding reception here:) While Patterson’s is known for their apples, cider, pumpkins, and yummy donuts and pies, it certainly does make for a beautiful photography session location as well!
Since Shannon and I had been emailing back and forth for a while now, I felt like I already knew her, but I was so glad to finally meet her and her adorable husband, Chuck. Knowing that Shannon is a photographer herself (you can find her here), made me a little nervous, but then when I found out that Chuck is a photographer, too, I was really nervous! I had no need to be though, they were both so easy-going, and easy to talk to. Throughout the session, I could just tell how in love these two are. They are going to make great parents, and I can’t wait for them to experience seeing each other as a parent. It’s a whole new kind of love, guys:) I am so excited that they are having a little girl, since I have been photographing a lot of baby boys lately, and I just love the name they have chosen for her! So pretty and classic. I can tell already that she is going to be so loved. Mom and Dad just lit up every time they started talking about her. I’m so glad that we were able to capture this special time in their lives before becoming parents with such beautiful images. I am so excited to photograph their baby girl at her very own Fresh 48 and In Home Newborn sessions. Shannon and Chuck, I will be impatiently awaiting the news that she has arrived!
