It’s been a while since I shared an in home newborn session with you all – and now that baby Delta is 4 months old (What?!), I thought it was probably about time I get her newborn photos up on the blog!
About 2 weeks after Delta was born (remember her birth story?), I reconnected with this family at their home in Berea, OH. I loved seeing them so relaxed, happy, and settled in 🙂 . We started off the session by getting some photos in her fun and colorful nursery. I loved seeing all the thought and details Aaron and Kristine put into the nursery placed into action – like the adorable (and functional!) changing station and the super cute rocker. The green and white blanket you’ll see Delta laying on was made with love by her Grandma and the pink elephant with her name on it was sent by Aaron’s work (What a great company to work for!). After we finished up in the nursery, we then moved throughout the house, being sure to capture all the spots that are special to them as a family. This is their first home together and I wanted to be sure that they will be able to look back at these photos and remember the first weeks at home with their new baby girl <3. We also had some fun re-creating a few of the photos we got at their maternity session before they even knew that Delta would be a girl!
Aaron and Kristine, I am so thankful you put your trust in me to be your maternity, fresh 48, and newborn photographer. You have such a special little family and I can’t wait to see it grow! I hope you are enjoying your girl and every minute you have with her (even when she’s crying!) because it’s true what they say… Time moves so fast!
