Back to work today for me after a quite fun and relaxing Father’s Day weekend. I don’t know who feels more refreshed – my husband or myself 😂. Hope you all had a great weekend as well!
So, today, I have some gorgeous maternity pictures that I can’t wait to share with you. You may remember having seen me share a couple of them over on my Facebook and Instagram pages – and I’m excited to finally share the rest of my favorites.
Lindsay and Andrew’s cute Lorain County home was the perfect backdrop for the first half of our session. As is the case with a lot of the first-time parents I work with, Lindsay and Andrew have pets that they consider their first “children”. Choosing to have at least some of your maternity pictures taken inside your home is the perfect way to include ALL the members of your family in your photos. Their dogs, Violet and Toby, were certainly not shy about getting in on the action – they had no problems at all hamming it up for the camera 🙂 . And we were even able to get one of Lindsay and Andrew’s pet bunnies involved in the session (a first for me!).
After the indoor portion of our session, we headed to Oberlin for some outdoor photos. If you’ve never been out to Oberlin, you should definitely give it a visit – in my opinion it’s totally worth the drive. This little college town has tons of green space and lots of great little restaurants and shops to walk around and check out. My husband and I took our son out there a few years ago and it was a great little afternoon road trip for us. Anyways… back to the subject… With Lindsay’s perfect pick of a dress and the beautiful back-drop of the Oberlin square, we were able to get some of my favorite outdoor maternity photos to date <3.
Baby girl S is due soon and I can’t wait to meet her! Thank you, Lindsay and Andrew, for choosing me as your pregnancy photographer – I am so glad we captured these memories for you.
