It’s finally time to share this beautiful baby girl’s Fresh 48 session:)  She is so adorable and oh, so very loved! After spending time with Shannon and Chuck at their maternity session this past August, I knew just how excited they were to welcome this little girl into the world, which made me super excited to capture their first precious moments as a family of three.

While Lola’s entrance into this world was anything but easy (we’re talking 40 hrs of labor!),  Mom says she would do it all again in a heartbeat just so she could hold this little girl in her arms.  Chuck says Shannon was a complete rock star through the whole thing, and I have no idea how she managed to look so amazing just a day after giving birth. Shannon, Chuck, and Lola’s story is a great example of how sometimes things just don’t go the way you planned. But, in the end, you hope to get the same result; a beautiful baby to love and snuggle. It doesn’t matter how they get here whether it be a home birth with no meds, a hospital birth with an epidural, or a c-section being so numb that you can’t even tell if you are breathing, the baby that enters this world is all that matters.

I had the privilege of heading out to Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, OH to meet little Lola Rose just 2 days after she made her arrival.  Mom had her wrapped in the best blanket that totally fits her name with the cutest little hat to match:)  I loved shooting away as Shannon and Chuck snuggled with their baby girl.  They were both completely smitten and the love just radiated from them.  We got some great details in their session, including the special Halloween name card the nurses made just for Lola when they found out how much Mom and Dad loved Halloween and the special baseball glove that Lola’s Grandpa buys for each one of his grandbabies when they are born.

I can’t wait to go see Lola again at her house this weekend for her in home newborn session.  I know we are going to get some fantastic photos so stay tuned:)
