Hey all! Today, we’re heading over to Bay Village so I can share this beautiful family of FOUR with you! Jeff, Kristen, and big sis, Berdie, are so pleased to welcome baby Julian into their family 🙂 . Wait till you see this happy boy, happy family, and stunning home…
Now, one thing you may hear a lot as you are searching for a newborn photographer is that you should schedule your session when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old. This is the key factor in getting them into a deep enough sleep to be able to mold them into all those curly poses. But, the great thing about my more natural photography style is that we can still get amazing images, even if the baby is a little bit “older”. While I have photographed quite a few older newborns, Julian may win the prize for the “oldest” newborn I’ve had so far… he was 7 weeks on the day of our session! Why, you ask? He had a little bit of a rough start to his young life and poor Julian got stuck in the hospital for a few weeks with a virus when he was only 2 weeks old, so we had to postpone his photos a little. But, don’t worry, he’s a happy, healthy baby now!!! And he was all smiles for our session 🙂 .
And why wouldn’t he be? He has an amazing family! Jeff and Kristen are such patient, caring parents and Berdie is already an awesome big sister! I had such a great time playing with her and talking Sesame Street and she sure loved snuggling up to baby “JuJu”. I am in love with the photos we were able to capture of the two of them. Years from now, when all they do is bicker back and forth, Mom and Dad can pull these out and say “See, you guys loved each other from the beginning!”.
Thank you, K family for choosing me as your photographer and inviting me into your lovely home for a few hours. I loved exploring the details of your gorgeous home, getting to know you guys a little better, and snuggling with that precious little guy of yours 🙂 . I am so glad we were able to capture these memories for you and hope you cherish them forever.
