Spring is officially here! I don’t know about you, but my kids and I are looking forward to the warmer, longer days and also to getting outside more here in the very near future.
And speaking of warmer days… I just happen to have an in home newborn photography session – featuring Finnley and her beautiful Southwestern inspired nursery (great transition, right? 😉 ) that I’ve been wanting to share with you guys finally up on the blog today.
Will and Natalie, who you might remember from their golden-hour maternity session, now live in Massillon, OH, but are originally from Arizona and they wanted to give their daughter’s room a little taste of their home state.
I have to say, they did an absolutely AMAZING job styling her nursery. When I posted a sneak peek photo from their session over on my Facebook page, I got so many comments about how gorgeous the nursery was and I’ve been excited to share the rest of the photos with you all. There are so many unique and personal details. There’s art that was brought in from the pediatric ward of the hospital Natalie’s mom works at, a matching hand-sewn changing pad cover made by her mom, and a mobile that was lovingly made by Natalie’s sister. They also chose to decorate with cactus wallpaper on one wall (genius and easily the show-stopper), lots of plants, and a stunner of a light fixture. Finnley is so lucky to call this room hers.
A huge Thank you to the Walmsley family for choosing me as your maternity and newborn photographer! It was such a pleasure meeting you guys and I’m so glad we captured these memories for you!
