Are you curious about booking an in home maternity photography session but worry the photos won’t turn out because you don’t have your “dream house” yet? Well, this post will prove you don’t need the perfect house to have an amazing photo session…
Happy March, everyone!
I just got the news that The G family welcomed a baby girl into their family last week! Yay! They were keeping the gender a surprise, but I had a sneaky feeling it was going to be a girl 😜.
What I want you to notice in these photos is, first of all, how adorable this family is and how excited they are to be welcoming a new baby! Zoya is an absolutely stunning mama-to-be and I may have squealed a little when she mentioned she wanted to include a few yoga poses in the session 😁. Bogdan is as nice and friendly as he looks and their son Christopher is such a little cuddler and is going to make such a great big brother.
Secondly, I want you to notice their house. The house you will see in their photos is not actually their full-time home. They are currently in the middle of a large remodel, so they are renting this cute South Euclid house while they wait for it to be finished. I thought it was a great opportunity to show you how even if you think your house isn’t perfect… your session can and WILL still be amazing. Maybe you just moved, are in the process of moving, or still haven’t gotten your “dream house” and you’re nervous about booking an in home photography session for your maternity or newborn photos. I’ve actually had quite a few families who are buying and moving into a new house at the same time they are welcoming their first baby and the “I don’t know if our house will be quite ready for our session” worry is so common. I do my best to ease their concerns, but there’s nothing better than visual proof! The Glushko’s session is that proof that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have stuff up on your walls yet, if you still have boxes everywhere, or if you’re not even in your own home – the memories are what matters, not the decor.
Thank you, Bogdan and Zoya, for choosing me as your maternity and newborn photographer. You did a great job making your interim home feel welcoming and I can’t wait to meet your baby girl soon!
